Dr. Bhumika Das

Co-Founder & Director

Dr. Bhumika Das is an academician, researcher and environmental expert with 13+ years of teaching and research experience in water quality, sustainability, hydrogeology, emerging contaminants and environmental governance. She specialises in sustainable water-resource management, field investigations, laboratory quality assurance and environmental monitoring.

She has led and contributed to multiple interdisciplinary research initiatives, including 2 funded research projects, with a strong focus on water conservation, waste management, aquaculture sustainability and environmental impact assessment. She has served as Editor of 6 books published by Springer Nature, supervised 3 Ph.D. scholars, authored 30+ research publications and presented at 75+ conferences and seminars in India and abroad. She was honoured with the Young Scientist Award by COST.

At AS-WEC, she leads field sampling, laboratory protocols, quality-assurance systems, environmental consultancy and sustainable water-management practices — driving impactful research and community-driven environmental solutions.
